Definition of Terms

Return on total assets:

Profit attributable to ordinary shareholders divided by the average of total assets at the beginning of the year and total assets at the end of the year.

Return on net assets:

Profit attributable to ordinary shareholders divided by the average of ordinary shareholders’ equity at the beginning of the year and ordinary shareholders’ equity at the end of the year.

Member companies mean the entities included in the consolidated financial statements of CITIC Limited.
